The School of Nursing (SON) prepares diverse and highly competent nursing professionals to serve as leaders by offering excellent, accessible, and relevant programs to the greater Charlotte region and beyond. The School achieves excellence through a commitment to community partnerships, service, educational advances, and knowledge generation with its translation into nursing practice.
The SON aspires to become nationaly recognized in improving the health of diverse populations by providing the highest quality nursing education, scholarship, and practice at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels.

All of our degree programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2021, and approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
