The Great 100 is a grass roots organization whose mission is "to positively impact the image of nursing by recognizing nursing excellence and providing scholarships for nursing education in North Carolina."
Each year, 100 nurses from all areas of nursing practice settings in the state are recognized. The organization solicits nominations to identify deserving nurses “who are making a difference in community and professional settings through their commitment to nursing excellence.”
