All of our degree programs are accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2011, and approced by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
There are three majors in the graduate program. The Nurse Anesthesia major is a joint program with Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) - Main. Students receive all anesthesia specialty education from faculty and staff in the Nurse Anesthesia Program at CMC. The Advanced Clinical Nursing major is offered on campus. All courses are taught on the UNC Charlotte campus with clinical placement occurring with preceptors through out the region. The Systems/Population major is offered through Distance Education at UNC Charlotte. Students are not required to come to campus and are placed with local preceptors for clinical courses.
Due to budget constraints, NURS 6101 - Nursing Theory, NURS 6115 - Health Policy, and NURS 6160 - Nursing Research are unable to accomodate any Post-Baccalaureate students during the Fall 2009 and Srping 2010 semesters.
